[quoteicon author=”Michelle Kirnan”]My son has inspired me to follow my dreams. I became a photographer to capture the joy of relationships and the soul of individuals, and as a bonus, I love the relationships I develop with my clients.[/quoteicon]
We decided to get a puppy for our son for his birthday in December. We went to our local shelter, where we found Polly, a black lab mix. She was one of 11 in a litter. I thought it would then be safe to volunteer at the shelter, taking photos of the dogs and cats available for adoption, something I had wanted to do for some time, a way to give back. However, I was afraid I would want to bring them all home! My first time volunteering was the first week of February.
Upon arrival, I was told that one of Polly’s brothers had been returned. I kept saying no, but after several hours I called my husband to see what he thought. I brought Reuben home as a foster placement until we were able to determine that he would fit with our two other dogs.
Michelle’s pictures that she submitted of a couple of adorable Labrador Puppies in the studio quickly grabbed my attention. I bit different than the usual submission and once I asked her for more, I was even more delighted. The story of these Lab puppies is even more awesome. Who would have thought that they would have become LABmodels and posing under the bright lights.

Michelle is another photographer that is giving her time and lens to help Rescue Animals and for that we say Thank You.
